Symbiosis [Webster definition]
1 : the living together in more or less intimate association of two dissimilar organisms
2 : the intimate living together of two dissimilar organisms in a mutually beneficial relationship; (mutualism)

The "Printed Organism" is a visual patern that lives and grows on a pre-existing garment, a jacket.
The cotton jacket is black and presents only a seamless printed pattern when not active. Expressions of health and grows appears through the transformation of the different graphical elements of this jacket. When it is worn, the pattern, like a parasite or a wine plant, slowly comes to life as color until it reaches full visual bloom. When the jacket is removed again, the organism slowly dies out until it fades completely. The human body acts as a host and provides a support structure for the organism to grow on.

The printed organism is created using thermo-chromic inks and is electrically controlled through conductive wire threaded directly on the fabric of the jacket.
